Roseanne Halloween Edition

“Halloween is the one night of the entire year where the veil is lifted between the living and the dead. And the dead return from hell to walk the earth and we have to dress up like ghosts and  goblins and stuff to fake out the evil spirits or else they might carry us back to hell with them.”

Every Halloween season there’s a stack of horror films that are on our “must watch before the holiday” list. And right next to that pile of movies is the Roseanne Halloween Edition DVD. Say what you will about Roseanne, but any female that gets into the spirit of Samhain that much is A-OK to us. Hell, who are we kidding? We love her and that show was the best. But back to the DVD. These 7 episodes were filled with some awesome costume and party ideas that we can all enjoy. And Roseanne, being a self-proclaimed scare fanatic, has said that she used to keep the shows budget to a minimum all year so she could go crazy with it on the Halloween episodes. It shows.

From Roseanne and Dan’s ventriloquist costume to DJ as Hannibal Lecter, Ernie’s reoccurring ghost of Elvis, and Dan and Jackie as Marie Antoinette, the costumes in these episodes were top notch.

An alien popping out of Darlene’s stomach has got to be one of the coolest costumes we’ve seen.

Becky loved the half normal/ half really gory costumes.

Roseanne as a man was hilarious. Even funnier was when Crystal hit on her.

“I’ve got a splitting headache!”

This is a great costume if you’re going to put on a show at your party.

This Marie Antoinette costume definitely inspired a lot of people to do headless costumes.

Another great idea for a party – put your head under a serving tray cover, have someone quickly remove it and scare your guests.

So if you’re still debating on a costume or thinking about some creative party ideas, check out the Roseanne Halloween episodes for some good ideas and lots of  laughs.
